Found the post interesting... mirroring a lot of my cynicism (I be THAT guy)...
However their reason for scoffing at the referendum, wasn't because of obvious inequality issues ignored, elephants in the room denied or blatant over looking of important issues like citizenship; which plagues people who now live in a much smaller world (My own small househiold has serious issues/conflicts)... Also be very very suspicious about anything that ALL sides think is a GREAT IDEA!... however...
Kubatana thinks the Referendum is "funny" coz there isn't any money for the "Promises"...
Very sad. Coz the things they highlighted are actually important to be constitutionally bound... Education, Pensions, impartial Armed forces etc.
The NO campaign needs to hit with a more intelligent argument than, "why vote yes when they don't have money!"
The Abolishment of Slavery was LAW for years before some of the South bothered to recognize it... and still Martin Luther and Malcolm X where born unequal and Barack only moved into the "white" house 150yrs after.
Ok so its not funded... but isn't it a good aspiration??
Anyways... what ever... I'm voting with the Biggest United Party in the WORLD.... The Apathy party... Hence the only voting I'm doing paWeekend, is Not.
Coz Democracy is just a Wolf, Lion, Bear, Hyena and Lamb being all asked to vote for whats for dinner.
